ak skill remove

Remove the per-skill runtime record (cache untouched)

ak skill remove

Remove the per-skill runtime record (cache untouched)

Synopsis

What it does: Delete ~/.agentkit/skills/<kit>/<skill>/ -- the per-skill manifest record. Idempotent: a missing record is treated as success.

Who it's for: Power devs cleaning up after a renamed kit/skill, CI cache flushers.

When to use it: When a skill is renamed, deleted, or its runtime block is removed.

Examples: ak skill remove marketing/youtube ak skill remove engineer/web-testing

What changes on disk: Removes ~/.agentkit/skills/<kit>/<skill>/. Shared package cache under ~/.agentkit/cache/<hash>/ is preserved.

Output modes: pretty default on TTY (colors, ASCII markers) plain auto when stdout piped or --no-interactive json --json (single-object envelope, NDJSON-safe)

Exit codes: 0 success 1 runtime error 2 invalid flags 3 user-cancel (SIGINT, prompt-cancel) 5 kit or skill not found

ak skill remove <kit>/<skill> [flags]
